Fashola Expresses Commitment To Development of Malls, Shopping Complexes For Job Creation

Sep 12, 2014 - Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, Friday expressed the commitment of his administration to the establishment of more malls and shopping complexes across the State saying it will create a major demand pool for the supply of goods by manufacturing companies which would in turn create more jobs for the unemployed.

Governor Fashola, who spoke at the Lagos House, Ikeja, while hosting the Global Chief Executive Officer of Unilever, Mr. Paul Polman, said the malls and shopping complexes represent the reawakening of the retail end of the Unilever business which flourished in the State and Nigeria in the 1970s.
